Do you have a minimum guest count?
Yes. Each venue has a minimum guest count. The Stable: 80 guests, The Loft 135 guests, the Manor View 100 guests
Do you offer discounted prices for children?
Children ages 0-2 are half price and ages 3-10 are half price. We also offer vendor rates at half price!
How late can my reception go?
Your reception package includes four hours but must end by 10:30 PM. An extra hour can be added for an additional cost. If you are having your ceremony at the barn, your four hours reception period starts when your ceremony concludes. If you are having your ceremony at a different location, your reception time starts when 25% of your guests have arrived.
Can we bring outside vendors?
Here at the Country Barn, all of our wedding packages are very inclusive. We provide the catering, linens, tables and setup, and for an additional price we even have an in house florist. However, you are allowed to bring outside vendors into the venues if you wish. Feel free to bring your own DJ, band, florist, photographer, videographer, etc. The only exception we have to this is the catering. You are not allowed to bring your own caterer to your event unless you choose the rental only option at the Manor View Barn. If you are choosing to bring your own caterer, they must be licensed.
What is your alcohol policy? Who provides the bartender? Can we bring our own bartender?
The Country Barn does not provide alcohol. However, you are permitted to have alcohol served. Our Alcohol Policy allows beer, wine and one type of hard liquor that must be served as a mixed drink. The only addition to this is champagne if you are having an alcoholic toast. No other additions or exceptions will be made to this policy. Liquor liability insurance is required and you rent our bar. The Country Barn provides the bartender and there are no exceptions to this. You may not bring your own bartender.
Is there a cake cutting fee?
No, we will cut your cake for free!
Is there a fee for the ceremony?
Yes, there is a fee to host your ceremony here at the Country Barn. Ceremony pricing varies by location. We have beautiful outdoor locations and the barns are spacious enough to accommodate beautiful indoor ceremonies as well. In case of inclement weather for outdoor ceremonies, your back-up plan is to move the location of the ceremony into your reception venue.
Do you have rehearsal dinners? When can I have my rehearsal?
We do offer rehearsal dinners if you are having your ceremony here and wish to practice at your venue during the week before the day of your event. Your rehearsal time is free of charge. If you want to provide dinner for your guests, the Country Barn can provide catering. Inquire below for current rehearsal dinner package pricing.
When can we decorate the venue?
While the venues stand well on their own with minimal decoration, some couples choose to decorate. You have all day in your venue starting at 8 AM to decorate with the possibility of access the night before as well. Our decoration restrictions do not allow open flame or the use of nails, tacks or permanent glues. Help us keep Country Barn beautiful!
Are the venues handicap accessible?
Yes! All three venues are handicap accessible. The Stable is on the ground floor and the Manor View and Loft reception areas have ramp accessibility.
Are the venues climate controlled?
Yes--all three venues are climate controlled for heat in the winter and air in the summer.
